Boarding Facilities

Our Riding Center is located on the southwest side of Belmont Lake State Park in western Suffolk County. We are directly adjacent to 5 miles of state park bridle paths, in which there are no public roads to cross. The happiness and health of our horses is evident in the impeccable maintenance of the grounds, the cleanliness and tidiness of the barns, the quality of hay and feed provided, and knowledgeable staff available.
Our equestrian center offers boarders a broad range of services and facilities; including an indoor riding arena, numerous outdoor riding rings (all stadium lit), turnout paddocks and, to relax your horse's brain, miles of shaded bridle paths.
We are open 7 days a week. We offer extensive riding hours, minimum holidays closures and are accommodating for the working horse owner. Our first concern is safety. Therefore, no rider will be unsuitably mounted for lessons, nor will any ground hazard be unattended, or staff member be unqualified.
A few of the facilities and services offered :
- large, well lit and ventilated stabling (box stalls, 10'x10' , 10'x12').
- Stall maintenance, mucking out 2x daily
- Eight large air mover fans in barn areas
- Ample supply of quality hay & grain, fed 2x a day
Riding services and facilities:
- 2 outdoor dawn to dusk stadium lit riding rings
- 11,000 sq.ft indoor ring with viewing area (100 skylight roof providing excellent natural lighting, new electric lighting, and sand footing newly installed).
- Main outdoor and indoor rings use commercially timed sprinklers for footing and dust control
- Staff instructors available for lessons and training of your horse
- Commercial monitoring and security system with central station
- Turnout services are offered
- Wash stalls
- Every ring/stall has it's own water supply
- Tack room
- Cozy lounge with fireplace and vending machines for the winter and shaded picnic area for the summer
- Riding surfaces are maintained daily with tractor and grading box
- Winter removal of snow and ice in key riding areas
